Excellent resource for rep weave.
but be aware the drafts require at least 6 harnesses, most 8-10. Disappointing for this 4 harness weaver. Will be keeping for inspiration; wouldn't have purchased tho if I'd known...
By far the best book on Rep Weave that I have found. I have at least 6 different Rep Weave books. This is the only one that provides detailed project information. Not just drafts but what threads to use for thick and thin weft. Kelly clearly explains what thick weft to use in which situation, whether you're making a rug, place mats, a table runner, or upholstery fabric, she provides clear instructions. She also has examples of thick-n-thin projects -- a close rep weave cousin -- with projects for throws and dish towels. Her designs and textiles are an inspiration. It is true that this is not a project book for the 4-shaft weaver. Most of her projects require 8 shafts. However, even the 4-shaft weaver can learn about design, which materials to use for which applications, color, and more. I can't recommend this book strongly enough. I go back to it time and time again.
